About Rubalume

Rubalume is a small wellness brand with one job: red light devices that are pleasant enough that you actually use them, at prices that sit between the drugstore gadget and the four-figure clinic panel.

Where we are, and where your order comes from

Rubalume is a Japan-based brand, and every order ships from a warehouse in the United States. Our company address is in Japan. Our stock is not: it sits in the US, and that is where your parcel is picked, packed and posted from.

In practice that means shipping is free with no minimum, there are no customs charges or import duties, and nothing is waiting on a border. Orders are typically dispatched within 1-2 business days and delivered in 5-12 business days. We sell and deliver within the United States only.

What red light therapy is

Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light, delivered through LED devices. Red sits at the visible end of the range, around 630 to 660nm. Near-infrared sits just past it, around 850nm, and it is what gives a session its gentle, comfortable warmth. These wavelengths are commonly used in wellness routines focused on relaxation, recovery, and maintaining healthy-looking skin.

How we write our product pages

We quote the specifications the manufacturer publishes: diode counts, wavelengths, timers, coverage area. Where a figure is not published, we say so on the page instead of estimating one — you will find that sentence on two of our products. Every photograph on this site was made by us. We do not run borrowed reviews, invented star ratings, or crossed-out prices that were never charged.

It is a slower way to build a shop. It is also the only version we would want to buy from.
